what is CAN data bus?
this is for the LOW LEVEL STEREO wiring at the back of the stereo which some people call sattelite wire which is very tiny wire(18-20 gauge wire)going to the factory amp, this is not helpfull when needing to install an in-line converter(switches speaker wire to an RCA hook-up) to hook up an amp to your factory stereo.in order to do so you need to hook into the ACTUAL HI LEVEL STEREO wiring(16 gauge wire) which is coming from factory amp to speaker which is what is needed to convert wiring over to RCA.converter will only work correctly when switching HIGH LEVEL to LOW LEVEL.
