  14. I’m upgrading my 1997 F150 Lariat ext cab with factory installed premium sound (it has the factory amplifier) to a stereo with DVD, and touch screen. All wiring diagrams that I have seen describes speaker wires completely different from what I have. It must be because the wires go directly to premium sound system. Do you have the wiring diagrams and color codes for the premium system? Thanks very much.

A thief stole my radio and cutted my harness i bought an original radio replacement but i don’t noticed i didn’t have the plugs until i was about to install the radio now i have to rewire or buy a plug any advice and the wiring diagrams thanks in advance regards

  25. I am installing 2009 Stereo with Bluetooth from Kia Rondo to Kia Rondo 2008 with steering wheel control interface. I connected 2009 Kia Rondo Stereo to 2008 Rondo ,it is working perfectly except steering wheel control part.
    How can I make it to work for steering wheel control?
    My 2008 stereo was working with steering wheel control, so I don’t know what connection I am missing.

  30. my c230 stereo is factory installed. I have a cd changer/tape player system. Since I bought the car it states NO CD CHANGER and TAPE STUCK. How do I fix these problems to utilize these components?

  42. I have a 1988 full size ford bronco. I took the stock stereo out and trying to find what wires go to what? I have 2 black flat plugs that contain a red, yellow with black stripe a blue with red stripe, a brown wire, a black wire and a pink wire that is the first plug. The second plug white wire, a purple jumper wire a red wire, a purple wire, a blue wire, another geen jumper wire, a yellow wire, and a green wire.
    What in the heck do these go to. NO WHERE on the internet does it have these wire combos.
    Please help I am doing this myself

I need a wiring diagram for the stereo, as there was not one in my car when I bought it, and now im putting a jvc aftermarket cd player in it…an also I need diagrams of the fuse box…by the drivers knee bolster….and any hints you could give me about how I could put a kill switch on it, so when I leave it somewhere, its still there when I get back. please and thank you!

  66. I have a 2005 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport that I’m trying to replace the audio system. The wiring diagrams that you have posted are exactly as what’s behind the Monsoon factory radio.

    However, there appears to be no direct connection to the speakers. In other words, I can manually inject sound into any of the 4 pairs as color-coded … but no audio comes through the speakers (and yes, this is with no stereo hooked up … only injecting audio).

    Is there some kind of internal relay or electronics that is BETWEEN the head end audio unit and the speakers? I can’t find any references to such a device, but something’s going on, since I can’t get audio to the speakers. Please HELP !!!

  79. I am looking for the radio/stereo connector wiring details. The color coded wires don’t match what I am finding in the 1998 Hyundai Elantra, most every website has the same colors listed but not what I am finding in the car.
