02 ava’s have a factory amp that is behind the glove box, in order for a after market stereo to sound. You must have the amp running, i purchased a wiring harness that did not supply the harness for the 2nd harness that supplys the on star and amp switch, so i had to splice into the harness to find the power line to the amp, this is a pink wire in the 2nd harness. Once remote line from aftermarket radio is conected than u should have sound
