What is the black/orange, green/white, and the extra blue wire for an a 2006 impala radio? Thank you much appreciated.
I think the BLK/ORNG and BLU are for strg col cntrl.
Everything is connected correctly but my radio will not turn off when I turn the car off plz help me figure this out?
Quan, it sounds like you have your 12v switched (red wire from aftermarket deck harness) to a constant power source. Couple different options.. easiest in my opinion is to try a couple of the leftover wires, for me on the ’06 impala lt was the gray wire next to the dj. Blue lt. Blue speaker wires, hard to distinguish between it and the lt. Blue speaker wire.. Or look for something in the fuse box that only runs when the car accessory is turned on or the car is fully running. Get one of them little metal prongs (anyone who sells audio equipment will have them, cheap) for the end of your wire, there are different sizes, get the one to fit into the fuse slot, and you’ll be able to pop the fuse back in over it.
